Speaker's Bureaus vs. Do It Yourself Searches:
1) Time savings
Save time researching, fielding calls and assessing proposals from multiple
speakers before and after you've made your decision. All that is handled by the bureau. A bureau can also handle
last minute or unusual requests routinely. Our expert consultations and recommendations are free.
2) Accountability/Maximize Event's Success
A bureau should give you an independent, well researched and strategically sound
recommendation based on broad, ongoing talent assessment. Going direct to speakers will more likely give you inherently
biased recommendations.
Once booked, a speaker may not return for several years for variety's sake,
whereas a bureau has the interest and capability to provide multiple options for every one of your events.
3) Cost Savings/Best Value
Most established professional speakers charge the same whether approached directly
or via bureaus. In fact, a bureau may have more bargaining power or awareness of budget options based on their negotiating
power and knowledge of the market - we may hire a speaker multiple times and find them assignments they would never find
on their own.
