An acclaimed speaker, Vincent Bugliosi has written three NY Times #1 best-selling true crime books, more than any other author. His stories of the Manson, JFK and O.J. Simpson murder cases are their definitive accounts, as acknowledged by his peers and book critics.

With a warm speaking style and a clear understanding of the facts, Vincent Bugliosi relates the stories of his cases: mysteries that he has solved, such as the Manson murders, the desert island murders and the Kennedy assassination. A compelling, dynamic, and sensitive speaker, he has captivated hundreds of thousands when discussing the tactics and techniques of trying a case.

Among his popular forums are universities, legal and law enforcement associations, media, trade and political groups.

Vincent Bugliosi's most recent book, Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy has been heralded as epic and a book for the ages. In it, he conclusively proves that Oswald acted alone.  Using a compendium of fact, forensic evidence, reexamination of key witnesses, and common sense, every detail and nuance is accounted for, every conspiracy theory revealed as a fraud upon the American public. Soon, HBO in association with Tom Hanks' PlayTone Productions will be producing his book as a ten hour mini-series.

You may have seen Vincent Bugliosi in the British television production in which he prosecuted Lee Harvey Oswald for the assassination of John F. Kennedy against the celebrated defense attorney Gerry Spence. For this special he prepared for six months as if it were an actual case, working over 100 hours per week. The 21 hour docu trial had a real judge and jury, the actual witnesses in the Kennedy case, and no script or actors. The jury convicted Oswald. Afterwards, Spence said, "No other lawyer in America could have done what Vince did in this case."

Vincent Bugliosi is the acclaimed prosecutor who convicted Charles Manson in the most bizarre mass murder case in the recorded annals of crime. The story of that case was immortalized in Bugliosi's book Helter Skelter. This classic was the biggest selling true-crime book in publishing history. It was turned into a highly successful television movie which continues to draw high ratings in reruns.

Another of his books is Outrage: The Five Reasons Why OJ Simpson Got Away With Murder, which hit #1 in the New York Times bestsellers list. It is the only book out of the over 60 on the Simpson case that was nominated for the Edgar Allen Poe award as best true crime book of the year. Vanity Fair's Dominick Dunne says "If you only have time to read one book on the criminal trial of OJ Simpson, I would recommend without hesitation, Vincent Bugliosi's Outrage". The American Bar Association adds: "One can be sure, Outrage is the best book that will ever be written on the OJ Simpson murder trial".

Bugliosi also wrote The Betrayal of America: How the Supreme Court Undermined the Constitution and Chose Our President. This book is a searing indictment of the legal and political process behind George W. Bush's 2000 Election.

Bugliosi received his law degree in 1964 from UCLA Law School. ln his career as a prosecutor for the Los Angeles District Attorney's office, he lost only one out of the 106 felony jury trials he prosecuted, including 21 consecutive murder convictions. His most famous trial was that of Charles Manson. But even before that, the starring role of Robert Conrad in the TV series The DA was patterned after him.
